Who is Respect Nature Tours?
Hi, my name is Claudia Moir, I am the founder and owner/operator of Respect Nature Tours New Zealand.
I would like to tell you a bit about me. I come originally from Austria, where I have worked in several travel agencies in customer service roles before working on a sustainable tourism project for WWF Austria. My love for New Zealand brought me here quite a few times before settling permanently in Northland in 2002. I have travelled New Zealand extensively (at one stage for 6 months at a time) and have also worked as a tour guide for a couple of years, so I think that I know the best spots to visit. Having been a traveller here myself (and I still like to travel) I know what customers expect.
I started Respect Nature Tours in 2008 because I wanted to offer a sustainable travel option and an alternative to the standard 3-week coach tour of New Zealand. I found working as a tour guide on group tours that it is hard to please everyone. People have different expectations and interests, thats why I am offering individual tours, especially prepared for each and every customer.

Dear Claudia,
The walks on the Heaphy and Queen Charlotte tracks that you organised for us seven mature Northland tramping girls went very well.
You co-ordinated the transport, walks and hotel bookings very well and the whole adventure went so smoothly for us. We enjoyed every moment.
We would definitely recommend you to plan a trip for anyone wishing to do outdoor activates in NZ and we will certainly consider using "Respect Nature Tours " again for adventure trips in the future.
