New Zealand Eco Tours
We believe that our tours are the ultimate experience of New Zealand's natural wonders, wildlife and culture. However we are happy to make amendments according to your interests and fitness level. The walks and sea kayak experience on our tour requires a moderate level of fitness.
Once we receive your booking request, we will pre book your bus, train and ferry tickets, your accommodation (including breakfast), and your local eco-cultural experiences just for you, for the dates you require (subject to availability).
All our eco-tours start and end in Auckland. On the 4 and 6-week tours a member of our team will meet and greet you at Auckland airport, take you to your accommodation and go through the whole itinerary with you, before you head off on your own on public transport for your pre-organized tour. That way you have a local point of contact to give you a first introduction to New Zealand and who you can contact anytime if you have any questions whilst on tour. If you wish we can provide you with a SIM card or mobile phone for the duration of your stay (free of charge). We are proud to be a small tour operator with personal service.

As well as the 4 and 6 week tours of the whole of New Zealand, we also offer shorter tours of part of the country, like our 1-week eco-tour of Northland and our 1-week eco-tour of Rotorua and the Coromandel Peninsula.

We also offer guided tramping tours with several multi-day hikes which let you experience New Zealand's unique flora and fauna close up. These tours require a moderate to high level of fitness (on some days 7-8 hours of walking). Please click below for itineraries and prices (as per July ’09). The 4-week North Island and 4-week South Island tour can also be combined to the ultimate New Zealand experience.

Dear Claudia,
The walks on the Heaphy and Queen Charlotte tracks that you organised for us seven mature Northland tramping girls went very well.
You co-ordinated the transport, walks and hotel bookings very well and the whole adventure went so smoothly for us. We enjoyed every moment.
We would definitely recommend you to plan a trip for anyone wishing to do outdoor activates in NZ and we will certainly consider using "Respect Nature Tours " again for adventure trips in the future.
Thank you so much for your excellent service.

Sustainable Travel New Zealand
With geography spanning white to black sand beaches, mountains, thermal mud pools and geysers, plains, forests, rivers and lakes, and volcanic plateaus, New Zealand's scenery leaves nothing to the imagination. More than 30% of the land has been set aside in national parks, reserves and special heritage sites to preserve the country's ecological heritage. New Zealand has 13 national parks featuring relatively untouched landscape, that are home to ancient forests and landforms, rare birds, and creatures that have survived since prehistoric times.
